The club bar and dinner service will be available from 5pm on:

No bookings required. Summer Season menu available, including Vegetarian, Vegan and GF options.

The bar will also be open this Saturday 30 December (no meals) from 5pm.

Mentone LSC is hosting an RSA course for members and guests aged 18 and over (or nearly 18) who would like to work in the bar at the club over summer in paid and volunteer roles.

The course is being held at Mentone LSC but is facilitated by LiqCon so there are two steps required:

1. Complete this Trybooking and pay
2. You will receive an email after you have paid with a link to LiqCon which you need to use to register with them.

When: Tuesday 30th January 2024 6-10pm

We have been entering your patrol hours manually from LIMSOC until the system starts working correctly. Please check each week that everything is correct.

Also check while you are on patrol that you have been entered by your patrol captain into LIMSOC as we have had members left off that list.

Please send an email to Bern at carnivals@mentonelsc.com if you have done any water safety at carnivals this season so that these can be recorded.

This will  be the process for the remainder of this season and it is your responsibility to let Bern know.

We have a modified schedule for Nippers for January.

We will have the following sessions in January.

• Friday, 12 January
• Friday, 19 January

We will move back to Sundays for Nippers starting in February.

We have an annual program for U08-U13 in early January each year.  These sessions expand on key practical lifesaving skills including:

• Swimming
• Boarding
• Lifesaving techniques

We will create separate groups based on ages/capabilities.

This 3 day program is a great opportunity to tune up skills prior to Cosy Corner Carnival (5 January) and Mt Martha Carnival (28 January).

We encourage parents to also help with water safety. 

Sessions will be held the following dates/times

• Tuesday 2 January, 8:00am – 10:30am
• Wednesday 3 January, 8:00am – 10:30am
• Thursday 4 January, 8:00am – 10:30am

 The club asks for $40 for this 3 day program to help fund Nipper programs and activities. If you are keen sign up here.
