The 2024 Australian Pool Lifesaving Championships showcased the exceptional talents of Mentone Life Saving Club, with 10 members competing for the Victorian team.
Throughout the exhilarating three-day carnival, the team not only represented Mentone LSC with distinction, but also exhibited remarkable sportsmanship and teamwork.
Among the standout performances, Neve Turton emerged as the Women's Under 14 Australian Pool Life Saving Overall Champion,
Neve also added silver medals in the 10 Meter Line Throw, 100-Meter Manikin Carry, 50 Meter Manikin Carry, and CPR. Additionally, she earned bronze in the 100 Meter Obstacles and 50 Meter Manikin Tow.
Allegra Di Domenico showcased her prowess with a gold medal in the 50 Meter Manikin Carry and a bronze in the 100-Meter Manikin Carry.
Kahsia Lockwood displayed exceptional skills, earning the title of Women's Under 14 Australian Pool Life Saving Overall Champion, - Runner Up. She also secured gold in the 100 Meter Manikin Carry, silver in the 50 Meter Manikin Tow, and bronze in the 50 Meter Manikin Carry.
Coco Burke demonstrated precision, clinching the gold in the 10 Meter Line Throw, while James McGrath showcased his talents with a gold medal in the 12.5 Meter Line Throw.
