The Mentone LSC Seals
Introduction to Open Water Swimming and Boarding
The Mentone LSC Seals is a program aimed at building skills and confidence for younger Nippers in open water swimming and boarding. The program is meant for younger Nippers (U8 - U12) who are proficient pool swimmers but are not comfortable in swimming or boarding in open water.
These sessions will be coached by Greg Schmidt and other Mentone LSC coaches and volunteers. Younger Nippers who are competent open water swimmers are also encouraged to help with the coaching and encouragement. Adults are also encouraged to get in the water also.
To reach proficiency in basic swimming we have the option of Pool Swimming Training.
This Seals program is offered fee of charge to Mentone LSC members.
