Who are the Pink Caps?
The Pink Caps are a group within Mentone Lifesaving Club that delight in Open Water Swimming. We meet at the Club every Saturday morning between November and April 7:45am for an 8am start.
We encourage swimmers of all abilities to participate; everyone aged 16 (as at 30 Sep) or over is welcome. Swim distances vary from one kilometre to longer swims up to 5 kilometres.
The Pink Caps are fully supported by water safety crew on boards from Mentone Lifesaving Club. All swimmers participate as a part of a group with no one swimming alone.
Coffee and Catch Up
After the swim, we head upstairs in the club for a coffee and catch up; a great way to meet like-minded people.
