Bush Fire Appeal Fund-Raiser – 7.30pm Tonight!
The Mentone Life Saving Club is happy to announce a benefit to raise funds for the Bush Fire Appeal this Friday night the 17th January 2020. Meals will be on as usual, please book through the website. Last orders 7pm and tables removed by 7:30pm.
$5 door charge going straight to the Bush Fire Appeal. Performers are donating their time and equipment and Mentone Lifesaving Club will make a donation from bar sales.
Come for dinner and stay to enjoy performances by INSTYNKT, whatshisface, Harley Luscombe, and DJ Jack Pyper.
Junior/Youth/Senior/Boaties Carnival payments for February

Masters carnival at Lorne 8 February

Australia Day Swim
The Great Australia Day Swim will take place on Sunday January 26th at The Brighton Lifesaving Club. Options include 650m, 1400m, 2500m, as well as the 200/300m Junior Dash for 7-12yo’s. Live entertainment, food stalls, t-shirts, swim caps and more. Registration fee for the Junior Dash is $20, which includes a Tee Shirt, fruit, ice creams and Nivea Sunscreen. Nipper Sunday 19 Jan
Next Nippers Session is this Sunday 19 Jan. 9:45am arrival for a 10am start. Weather looks good with a high of 27 and light SE winds. There is a risk of smoke haze that we will be monitoring and address on the day.
Note – there will not be a Nippers session on Australia Day Weekend
Mentone LSC Indoor Swimming at Bayside Aquatics
The Mentone LSC Monday Night Swim at Bayside Aquatics (corner of Lucerne and Como Parade) starts up on Monday 20 Jan 7:45pm to 8:45pm. We will have lanes for adults, Nippers and also learn to swim. Casual rate is $8 per session or $60 for the term. We have a 50% discount for every family member beyond 2.

Mentone Development/Performance Squad
