About the Swim
An Adventure Swim is an opportunity for open water swimmers to participate in a non-competitive relaxed open water swim, experiencing the local environment, with like minded people.
A 4.5km swim over a natural marine reserve reef. Starting at Ricketts Point along the spectacular cliff face of Beaumaris Bay back to Mentone Life Saving Club.
A shorter 2km swim starting at the Scout Boat Shed, continuing along the cliff face to Mentone Life Saving Club.
- All groups will have a water support leader to keep the group together
- All groups will be accompanied by trained water safety volunteers
- All groups will be bused to their starting point
There will be a staggered registration/start time depending on groups. (refer to schedule)
About the Organisers
This event is being arranged by members of the Mentone Life Saving Club, as part of the Club’s commitment to community. The organisers are all volunteers. It is not a fund-raising event. The fees are collected to cover cost, anything remaining will be used to continue the Mentone Pink Caps Community Swim program.

Registration is online only so we can manage group size and bus seating.

Limited on the day registration is available, from 7:15, we will do our best to put you in your preferred group, but no guarantees. Priority will be given to those that have pre-registered.

Cost
Cost is $30 per person, or $25 if you are a financial Mentone LSC or Mentone Pink Caps Member. Registration Includes:
- Bus Transfer
- Swim Cap
- Light Breakfast at the Club
