LIFESAVING TRAINING

Mentone LSC Lifesaving Award Training

Welcome to the Mentone Life Saving Club (Mentone LSC) Training Team page. Our Trainers, Assessors, and Facilitators are a committed group of volunteers who play a key role in lifesaving. They work hard to make sure our volunteer members have the skills and knowledge needed to keep our beaches safe for everyone.

Training is a vital part of lifesaving, where water safety and rescue skills are learned, practiced, and updated. Our goal is to deliver practical and effective training. MLSC offers flexible course options, but all courses need to meet the required face-to-face training hours. Some also have prerequisites, like other courses, fitness standards, or age requirements.

Through these courses, members can achieve awards in water safety and first aid / emergency care qualifications as listed below.
