Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC)
Registration process for all courses
- Renew (or join) and pay your membership and course fees on https://members.sls.com.au
- Register for your desired course at mt.lsv.com.au - any problems check out the Course FAQs
- Once booked in, you can access your course e-learning content.
You will complete online learning throughout the course - Course attendees will then receive an email with further information and instructions.
- Join the relevant TeamApp group where last minute changes will be notified.
Pre-requisites
- Financial club member
- Be at least 13 years of age (at final assessment + 60 days)
- Registered for course online at mt.lsv.com.au
- Complete a 200‐metre swim in five (5) minutes or less, in a swimming pool of not less than 25 metres (A Timed Pool Swim Form needs to be signed by the SLSA Assessor/trainer, Swim Coach or a Pool Lifeguard who observed your swim)
- Pay the course cost of $50 per candidate
- Buy the Public Safety & Aquatic Rescue Training Manual 35th Edition - this is now online and is $10 - Check the course FAQs on how to buy it.
PLEASE NOTE - It is an expectation that all members completing their SRC Award commit to a patrol team and complete rostered patrols.
