MENTONE AWARD TRAINING SCHEDULE 21/22

There will be a Bronze course for adults run in the new year. An SRC and Bronze course for our Youth and Seniors will start next month, all eligible members have been emailed. Please get in touch if you have not received an email.
Here's the schedule and instructions on how to register for the Requals, plus an additional CPR course.
Skills Maintenance (Requal)
The training team has joined forces with Aspendale LSC and Mordialloc LSC to deliver skills maintenance sessions for all 3 clubs.
Pre-requisites:
- Financial club member
- Register for session online at mt.lsv.com.au
- Completed online e-learning prior to face-to-face attendance
- Ensure you have completed the Vaccination Status Form
- You must be double vaccination prior to attending your requals or training session(s)
We have changed how we are using TeamAPP for award training
- Go to TeamAPP to view details for the date you have selected to requals
- Event details will be kept updated, including any COVID requirements
- Ensure you have completed the Vaccination Status Form prior to attending your requals.
For all training pre-requisites
- Ensure you have completed the Vaccination Status Form
- You must be double vaccinated prior to attending any face to face training
To view these sessions on mt.lsv.com.au, you need to ‘enrol’ in your skills maintenance online component (SRC, Bronze, ART, IRBC/D) and then book your practical session as step 2.

CPR (HLTAID009)
Does your job require CPR? The Bronze Medallion does not cover it anymore. This course provides participants with the skills and knowledge to perform CPR during an emergency incident. We recommend this course for those members who use their CPR award outside the Mentone LSC and require the reissuance of this award annually. You will receive a statement of attainment upon completion of this course.
Pre-requisites:
- Financial club member
- Be at least 12 years of age (at final assessment)
- Registered for course online at mt.lsv.com.au
- Completed online e-learning prior to face-to-face attendance
There may be a nominal charge for venue hire once we know it.

Once booked in, you can access your course e-learning content.
Complete all e-learning prior to attending your course face-to-face. -
Course attendees will then receive an email with further information and instructions.
Course FAQs
Q - “Can I just turn up on the day?”
A - No. Registrations are essential. Members without a registration will be turned away.
Q - “Can I do my online learning after the course?”
A - No. Online learning is a pre-requisite. Members with incomplete online learning will not be allowed to commence the course.
Q - “Are there course capacities?”
A - Yes. Courses have a minimum and maximum capacity. Mentone LSC maintains the right to cancel courses 48 hours prior to scheduled start time if minimum capacity is not met.
Q - “Can I complete my skills maintenance at another club"
A - Yes, if you have registered online and completed online learning. Please use the following form to submit your completed requal card so it doesn't get lost: https://forms.gle/fNngjsnKx2GUEe4Y8
